The Sonoma Dining Group combines the simple construction of solid hardwoods in an antiqued black finish with its modern barstool and counter height table design principles, achieving a both casual and contemporary look. The counter height table includes a self storing 18" butterfly leaf for easy extension and seating for up to 8 people and the barstools, also constructed of 100% solid wood, feature and X slat back, a low beveled knee on the front feet and a contoured seat plank for ultimate style and comfort. "We have owned this set for about 4 years. The chairs (we bought 6) and table are very heavy-duty and have held up beautifully! Our only concern was when we purchased them, a few of the chairs they brought over for pick-up were not fully painted on the legs. The employees seemed happy to let us check all of the chairs completely before taking them home. The price is amazing for this set!"

"We have had this set for a year now, and did run into a few problems. We opened up the leaves on Christmas Eve for a party, and discovered that the middle section had developed a long crack. Furniture Row brought a whole new table top the following week. The small catch on the bottom does not hold a small piece up when the table is closed, but I just need to drop by the store for a replacement part. The style is great, and the price is right for a set like this. It does scratch easily and show dust, but still love it."

Big disappointment!

"I bought this item just over a year ago. Within months of purchasing it, the table began cracking and the chairs began falling apart, even with little use. I will have to replace this set soon because most of the leg braces have fallen off and the cracks on the top of the table are getting larger. If you purchase this product, be sure to purchase the warranty because you will definitely need it!"

"This table is very well built and looks really nice if you can keep it clean. Does show everything, including every fingerprint. It also seems to scratch very easily, and when the light hits the table you can see every tiny scratch or ding. Seems very sturdy and was easy to put together. Also, its nice that the leaf of the table stays underneath when you make it smaller."

"We've had this set (with a few extra chairs) for a couple years now. It's wearing nicely and we really like it. The new lower price is really nice too! We paid more but we still think it's worth it. Also delivery and setup people were very nice."
